Dry cleaning and steam cleaning both have the same goal: clean carpets and stain removal. But the systems are quite different. The most significant difference is the amount of water used. Steam cleaning involves heating and pressurising large amounts of water and injecting it into the carpet. This requires ten to fifty litres of water per room. The water, along with the dirt is then extracted out of the carpet. Drying times depend a little upon how much time the technician takes to extract water, but you could expect at least 4-6 hours before you could walk on your carpet again.
Dry cleaning is different. Our dry cleaning solutions break down stains, making them easy to remove. This means we are able to use very little water and still get amazing results. The Electrodry system uses a dry cleaning machine with cotton pads. These pads are soaked in a conditioning rinse, and rotated at high speeds to clean the carpets.
